Welcome to RDC Nepal

Research and Development Centre, Nepal (RDC Nepal), a national Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organization of Nepal, was established by a group of community development practitioners and human rights activists in 2003 with an aim to contribute in the reconstruction and development of the country. The organization is registered at District Administration Office, Kathmandu, Nepal (Reg. No.379/060/61) and affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu (Affiliation No.15534).

It aims at transforming society having good social cohesion, gender equity and sustainable socioeconomic development. It emphasizes the empowerment of the marginalized women and youth through entrepreneurship development that will enhance them to take up the challenges of their own existence and ensuring self reliance; and therefore reduction of their vulnerability to many human and societal obstacles or challenges. Its main focus is on the creation of a strong, viable and pluralistic civil society.
